Aly and Brooks got hitched

Aly and Brooks, I can’t say enough about your family and friends, everyone was so gracious, warm, and a ton of fun to be around. This was a destination wedding located in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. It was a beautiful resort, however, we didn’t have the best weather. Just so you all know, it rained while there! I’m not talking about a little thunderstorm, I mean a monsoon hovered over the resort for 5 days. The whole group took it in strides and didn’t allow anything to bring them down. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your big day. I had a wonderful time, the images turned out fantastically, and I’m extremely glad we got you two up at sunrise on Sunday for trash the dress. Here are some of my favorites from the weekend.

Sharayah & Joey’s Engagement Session

What a great session, I really enjoyed working with these two. Not only where they fun to work with, they wanted to shoot at places that aren’t typical spots for an engagement session. We started around civic center park and walked over to the Denver Art Museum. While chatting we started talking about graffiti walls, I mentioned I knew of a place and before I knew it we where on are way. I’m really glad we went, they turned out to be my favorite of the day.

Another great thing about this shoot is I got to play with some new gear that was purchased. I purchased some new pocketwizards and speedlites which added a lot to these awesome shots.

Congrats Sharayah and Joey!

Amelia’s 1st birthday party

It’s crazy how time fly’s, just last year I had the pleasure of photographing Amelia when she was about a week old. Now look at this cute little girl celebrating her 1st birthday. I’d like to thank the Humphries for inviting me to the big party at Monkey Bizness. As you can see from these photos we had a wonderful time.

The Easley’s visit….

I love the holiday season, it always means friends and family are coming into town. The Easley’s (unfortunately minus pops, he was working)  came into town to visit family and thought of me to setup a session. I feel so honored when they think of me during their busy schedule, and to think it happened twice during Thanksgiving. The Easley’s moved to the south a few years ago and I haven’t seen em since. Their two little ones (well not so little anymore) are as cute as a button, I mean look at these pictures! Thanks for thinking of me, we got some great stuff. This was the first time I’ve shot at Cheesman park, and I think it’s my new favorite.

The Dubosky’s Visit

I was so excited to hear the Dubosky’s where coming into town for a visit and that they thought of me to setup a session. I haven’t seen them since they moved to Chicago and it was great to reconnect. Once again, it’s crazy how fast little ones grow up. Last time I saw hazel, she was tiny. Thanks for including me on your visit, we got some great stuff.

So I met them at their ski in ski out house in sol vista, needless to say it was a beautiful day. Here are my favorite shots from the day.

Bogen’s are growing up fast

I can’t believe how fast kids grow, last time I took pictures of Riley she was just a little baby. Colten is such a big boy as well, running around talking in full sentences, it’s just crazy.  Stacie and Travis, my hats off to you, your kids are adorable. Once again I had a fantastic time with you all and look forward to our next session. Here are my favorites from the shoot.

The Sanchez’s Second Session

The Sanchez’s setup another session with me. I’ve had the pleasure of shooting their wedding and now two portrait sessions. We had a bit of weather come through Denver so we decided to setup the studio in their home, however, walked outside for a few shots as well. It was a really cold day so we only spent about 10 minutes out there. I’m really glad we did!

The Barela’s

A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of doing a portrait session with the Barela’s. We had a great time and captured some sweet moments. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot.

2009 Holiday Card Templates

It’s that time of year to start thinking about Holiday cards. I’ve been getting questions regarding Holiday cards and finally have them finished.

With that said, I’m proud to announce this seasons Holiday card templates. All these templates can be edited to your family’s taste. These are only templates and the effect on the images used on each card can vary. Depending on the image/images used there will need to be some editing in order for it to fit the distressed feel/size of the template. After you have chosen a template, image/images to be used, I’ll send the finished product for your viewing just in case final adjustments need to be made before placing the order. Also, if you like a card that doesn’t fit your beliefs/religion, not to worry, we can edit it.

These come with either white or parchment envelopes.

If you haven’t been a client in the past, now is the time to setup a session so you can send out these wonderful cards. If you would like to setup a session please contact me.

Sub Urban at Robusto Room

So the first event of “Sub Urban” took place this past weekend at the Robusto Room. Rock Star Industries Inc was there knocking out hair, BC surf and sport was also present handing out new skate decks (I actually got one, thanks a million).  One great thing about shooting Peter’s events is, I get to pretty much do whatever I want in post production. It always gives me a chance to try different techniques and be a little bit more radical. These are some of my favorites from the event.

Young Professionals Network

I shot an event for Y.P.N “Young Professional Network”, presented by Brownstein | Hyatt | Farber | Schreck. It was in an awesome venue Downtown. There was a huge roof/balcony area which had a great view and since it was a lovely evening, most people stayed outside. The owners are looking to lease the space, so it had a cool unfinished ambiance inside. I had a wonderful time and got some great shots.

Kasi & Jim Engagement Session

I had the pleasure of taking Kasi and Jim’s engagement photos this weekend. It was so much fun, and they let me try some techniques I’ve been wanting use for awhile. We met at Echo Lake (near Mt. Evans) and we couldn’t of asked for a better day. It was quite windy, however, it really added to the images…

Kasi and Jim, I wish you the best!
